Happy New Year PACG family! Another year has come and gone and January is a time of reflection, a time to look at the past year, and congratulate ourselves on a job well done. Congratulations to past-President Rey Santillan, the PACG Board, Committee Chairs, and volunteers for the great work accomplished in 2010! Although these are tough economic times, we are grateful for the work accomplished over the last year. In 2011, we will be continuing on the momentum of this work in keeping to our mission- Committed to preserving, enriching, and promoting the best of Filipino Catholic culture and traditions in the community. In keeping to our mission, I plan to make it my “New Year’s Resolution” to get our Membership more active through committees in PACG events as well as St. Mary Parish events including:

 

•         Flores de Mayo

•         Annual Picnic

•         St. Mary Parish Festival

•         Dinner Dance

•         Christmas Outreach

•         Christmas Party

 

I also plan to work on new events for the Membership to enjoy and participate. Some suggestions have included a golf tournament, casino trip, and children and adult Filipino cultural teaching (dancing and history). I am open to other suggestions. For any of these events to be successful, I will need your assistance. We will, of course, continue to hold our fun General Meetings. As your 2011 President, I look forward to working with the PACG Board and Membership in making this coming year a success.
